Witness KFA310 Continuous Output Performance without External Power Supply

The KFA310 protection relay test set is a lightweight and powerful test set, weighing only 3.7 kg. It offers 4x300V and 3x20A outputs, with a maximum current reaching 50A and an output power of 130VA. This advanced device is equipped with a high-performance Samsung battery, allowing it to operate entirely on battery power.

In a recent testing video, we demonstrated the KFA310’s ability to meet output duration requirements without the need for an external power source.

During the tests, the KFA310 protection relay tester was connected to Schneider's P444 and P643 relay protection devices respectively for output sampling, conducted at ambient temperatures of 25°C and 27°C. In the case of a fully charged battery, we disconnect the power cable of the KFA310 and set the outputs to 3-phase 5A and 3-phase 10A, respectively.

The results revealed that the KFA310 protection relay test kit maintained a 3-phase 5A output for an impressive duration of 1 hour and 21 minutes, while sustaining a 3-phase 10A output for 56 minutes and 22 seconds. These findings showcase the KFA310's exceptional performance and reliability across various applications.
