The Spring Festival holiday has come to a close, and the KINGSINE team is back, energized and ready to dive into 2025!
In true Chinese New Year fashion, we kicked off the year by receiving our traditional "start work" red envelopes, a symbol of good fortune, prosperity, and fresh starts. For those unfamiliar, these red packets are a beloved custom in Chinese culture, typically given as a token of goodwill for the year ahead. To make the moment even more memorable, our Finance team had a little fun, posing with their lucky envelopes—and golden abacuses, a playful nod to the ancient tool used for calculations long before the digital age!
Our celebrations didn’t end there. On February 12th, we also hosted a vibrant Lantern Festival gathering at KINGSINE! This festival, held on the 15th day of the lunar New Year, marks the end of the Spring Festival and is a time for family reunions and enjoying traditional customs.
The event was filled with joy as we took part in riddle guessing, unwrapped lucky red envelopes (each hiding some surprises and playful pranks), and savored the sweet, sticky Tangyuan — sweet rice dumplings that represent unity and happiness. It was a wonderful way to bond as a team, honor our traditions, and recharge for the year ahead.
With all this positive energy, we’re ready to bring fresh ideas and creativity to everything we do in 2025. Let’s make this year one to remember!
Wishing everyone a joyful and united Lantern Festival!
